Can optimum whey protein actually help you lose weight and build muscle, or as the name suggests, is it all hype? With a name like "optimum whey protein", it's natural to be put in mind of designer clothing - clothing that is popular largely because of its label. In this article, I'm going to reveal whether this protein supplement is all label and no quality. I've use the product over the past few months in order to give you an in depth look at why it is just so special.

Having tried many protein shakes before now, I know what a bad flavour tastes like. However, optimum whey protein was surprisingly tasty and I found it enjoyable to drink more than one shake a day. It may not seem like it, but taste is a vital aspect to a protein shake because you will be drinking them so often!
So what about the ingredients? The first big feature of this supplement has to be its high levels of anti-catabolic branched chain amino acids. These are vital for preserving lean muscle mass after strenuous workouts and work with the protein isolate to repair and enlarge your muscles. With 19 grams of protein per serving and only 1 gram of fat, this supplement is incredibly lean and has the potential to boost your muscle gains at an exponential rate.
So how did optimum whey protein help my gains over the course of the first month? It was pretty noticeable. The first big improvement was my strength as I was lifting heavier than I had done for months in the free weights. As a cardio freak, I was also noticing massive improvements to my stamina and my cut up look was really being emphasised.
I don't know whether I should recommend it, but I started replacing my lunch with the supplement that lost me fat and gained me major lean muscle growth thanks to my carb-rich breakfasts and dinners. It worked for me, but you'll have to give this designer whey a go for yourself to fully appreciate its power.
